Web & UI/UX Designer | WordPress Developer | SEO Specialist
I’m Umar, a UI/UX designer and web developer from Pakistan. My journey began with a deep passion for graphic design, especially using Photoshop. In 2017, I launched my own small business, which ran smoothly until the 2020 pandemic slowed everything down. That’s when I decided to step into freelancing.
At the time, I was proficient in Photoshop but lacked formal training. I enrolled in a Graphic Design Certification Program to build my foundation and deepen my understanding of design. As competition grew in the freelance world, I realized the need to diversify and began exploring web design. I started learning WordPress CMS, which sparked my interest in full-fledged website design.
By 2023, I could replicate designs effectively but struggled with creating new concepts from scratch. To improve, I enrolled in the Google UX Design Certification, where I learned about design systems and user experience. By May 2024, I proudly became a Google Certified UX Designer.
Not stopping there, in December 2024, I took a step further by learning front-end development through the Meta Front-End Developer Certification. This helped me bring my design ideas to life with code. Now, I combine UI/UX design, WordPress development, and front-end coding to build clean, user-friendly, and conversion-focused websites.
